Sermon Excerpt From “Servants and Stewards”: 

These Corinthian Christians were finding their boast in men, their party spirit. They were looking to a mere man to validate them, to make them seem important. And they went by, how well of an orator is this? And that's why they didn't like Paul. He wasn't a great preacher. That's why some of them liked apollos, or they liked Peter's authoritative position in the church and as one who was very close to the Lord Jesus within his inner circle.
